Didn't get much time outside but a lot can be packed into one hour. The birds decided to help me practice egg hunting and I got to check more flowers! So many signs of life and beauty ahead🤩

This is both a good and scary sign. Purple dead nettle means extra packed salads and allergy season is getting close. Good thing is eating these can help reduce allergy symptoms. Snacks are everywhere

Life is a continual experiment. This section was testing areas of the house to overwinter plants. And as I moved them out and really got to see them in the sunlight again they made me think of my own journey. Not all parts of us survive every season. We can be in the same soil as others and still not have the same growth. Sometimes it's just a pause or slow down and they come back to life after changing the type of care or environment. But some things get lost forever. And some of those losses will forever be grieved because it just isn't fair. But we can still use it for good. Dead things can still compost into nutrients for growth. The wish that it could have been different can allow us the vision to cherish more what really is. We can be healed and still have hurts... welcome to being human. I'm so thankful you're still here for it🫂

Not only was the sun in the sky shining today but the first full yellow daffodil opened up! If you want to boost your happiness and feeling good come join a day moving the hay and getting to walk past little blooms of sunshine with every trip🥰

I swear I was in the pen to work. The horses however thought it was all about pets and kisses! I did eventually get some broke down fencing out and replaced. Anyone else want to come get horse hair all over them? I'm building quite a pile of burn items so fire time is also in the future

Warning!!! If you come visit there might be laundry hanging on the line. Mostly because I love letting it have sunshine and fresh air but also-I haven't had a dryer in about 15 years. It isn't a quick throw it to a different machine but the time to hang out and collect gives me moments to slow down and collect my thoughts. Plus I get the benefits of being outside. Let me know if anyone wants to join me tomorrow or Saturday. It's going to be beautiful 😎

Hello darlings! I'm trying something new. I've been so blessed with opportunities to heal and grow with my animals, yard, and a list of other things and I want to be able to share that. Spring is arriving and with that comes more sunshine and more of me being outside. So if friends want to come enjoy sitting in the yard, smelling flowers🌷🪻🌺, brushing horses🐎, or cuddling other animals🐕🐈🐇🐓🦆 please let me know. I might post if I have specific plans or projects. And if there's any requests just let me know! We need more connection and this will be a more dedicated space to the homestead activities. Don't expect perfect but it will be real🤪
