🌟 Free Medical Clinic named 2026 Non-Profit of the Year 🌟

On behalf of our board of directors, staff, volunteers, donors—and most importantly, our patients—we are deeply grateful. Every day, our patients show incredible strength as they face the world with courage, and it is our honor to help ensure they never have to live in fear of illness or injury.

We are especially thankful for the power of partnership and the joy that comes from working together to make a difference in Roane County. What an incredible weekend of service! 🏥🩺

We had 375–400 patients registered, resulting in an estimated 900–1,100 total encounters as patients received multiple services across medical, dental, and vision.

A heartfelt thank you to Roane State Community College for allowing us to host this free medical event, and to all RSCC staff who helped make it possible.

We also want to thank every single volunteer who gave their time—whether for an hour or the entire weekend. Your dedication made it possible to serve each and every patient who walked through our doors.

This FREE medical, dental, and vision clinic is truly life-changing for so many, and it was an honor to be part of it.

We want to thank Jason West, FMC volunteer, for his dedication to our mission this weekend.

Jason served both Saturday and Sunday, helping in any way he could—primarily in our medical wing, where he assisted patients by walking them to and from appointments all the way through check-out.

We are incredibly thankful for our partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee for our Harvest to Home program.

Second Harvest provides Free Medical Clinic with all of our food—both perishable and non-perishable—at no cost. Not all food banks receive food for free, so we are especially grateful for their continued support of our program.

Through this partnership, we’re able to provide food to patients across all the counties we serve.

If you are an FMC patient experiencing food insecurity, please let a staff member know—we are here to help and can provide a food box. For perishable items, our Community Health Team can assist you in setting up an appointment to meet with them.
