This past Saturday was a powerful reminder of what partnership in action looks like 💙

We had the privilege of welcoming leaders from Parkwest to our ECHO Clinic, where they spent time learning about our mission, connecting with our team, and seeing firsthand the impact of their support.

Thanks to Parkwest’s generous donation of ECHO machines and ongoing collaboration with their Cardiac Services team, we’ve already provided life-changing scans to more than 50 patients—with seamless interpretation, follow-up care, and growing capabilities.

One visitor shared that we are “providing medicine as it should be.” That affirmation means everything to our team.

Even more exciting? This partnership is growing. Together, we’re exploring new ways to expand services, enhance patient care, and prepare for our future at the Armory.

We’re also thrilled to welcome a new volunteer sonographer, helping us expand ultrasound services and better serve our community.

None of this would be possible without:

🦷 Dental Hygienists Needed – Make a Difference in Your Community!

Free Medical Clinic of Oak Ridge is partnering with Remote Area Medical (RAM) to host a FREE medical, dental, and vision clinic for our community on April 11–12, 2026 at Roane State Community College in Harriman, TN.

We are currently seeking volunteer dental hygienists to help provide essential care to patients who may otherwise go without treatment. Your skills can make a life-changing impact for individuals and families in our region.

📍 Location: Roane State Community College – Harriman, TN
📅 Dates: April 11–12, 2026
💙 Cost to Patients: Completely FREE

A huge congratulations to our employee, Lee Frost, from Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Harriman’s Medical Office Assistant program, for earning Silver at the SkillsUSA State Championship!

Lee has worked incredibly hard to reach this milestone, and we are so proud of his dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. Achievements like this reflect not only talent, but the discipline and drive that will carry far beyond this competition.

Outpouring of support from colleagues, community as Lt. Gov. McNally announces retirement!

MCNALLY’S ‘LOVE LANGUAGE’?
Billy Edmonds, the executive director of the Free Medical Clinic of Oak Ridge (FMC), describes Randy McNally as “a true statesman and servant leader whose legacy is woven into the very fabric of Tennessee.”

“Throughout his distinguished service in the Tennessee House and Senate, he daily demonstrated his love in words and actions for Tennesseans — not only in chambers and committee rooms but in the quiet personal ways he remembered those in need … whether across our great state or right in his own backyard here at home.

“Free Medical Clinic experienced this time and time again as Lt. Governor McNally ensured that policy was never detached from people.”

Edmonds said McNally “consistently used his position to advance life-affirming priorities for vulnerable families, ensuring that decisions made at the Capitol reflected the real needs of hardworking Tennesseans. … Even while holding one of the highest offices in state government, he remained humble — often expressing genuine awe and gratitude for those serving families and communities on the front lines. He was quick to celebrate others and to shine the spotlight on their efforts — to champion their mission as he championed the FMC mission.”

In conclusion, Edmonds said the Free Medical Clinic of Oak Ridge will never forget the lieutenant governor’s “steady example of humility, compassion and unwavering service.” The FMC chief said McNally has left Tennessee better than he found it and his influence will continue to shape brighter futures for families across the state.

“We love you, Lt. Governor McNally, and we thank you — deeply and sincerely — for your faithful service to the people of Tennessee. In the future, we look forward to sharing life with you here at home.”
