Fall is my favorite time of year. I love the colors and cooler weather here in Tennessee. For me, it is a great time for reflection, deep breaths and connecting with myself and others. I also find that my clients are often in this same mindset this time of year.

It is a great time to start or resume therapy before the rush and hustle of the upcoming holiday season. If you want to work on your goals, how to manage stress, or relationships just give me a call and we can get started. I will be with you each step of the way!

One of my favorite self-help books is The 5 Love Languages. I recommend it to clients, family, friends, strangers…anyone I come into contact with. Why? Because The 5 Love Languages is easy to read and helps us each learn how we best receive love and if read with a partner, helps us learn how our partner best receives love. As a therapist I’ve learned quite a bit about relationships and have seen what tears them apart. And the first advice I’d offer is to learn more about your love language, whether or not you are currently in a relationship.
