She was not only a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, but also a mentor, a confidant, and a source of comfort for all who knew her.

Her spirit will forever be felt in the laughter of her family, the strength of her children, and the love that continues to bind them together.

She was deeply loved, and she will be profoundly missed. Yet her legacy is eternal rooted in love, carried in our hearts, and reflected in the generations she helped shape.

We are grateful for the life of Lee Taylor, aka. Brother Lee, Papa Lee, God’s faithful servant, whom His Heavenly Father has now called home. Lee’s every trial, every burden, was a quiet sacrifice. Lee got his strength to stand, from the LORD, his God. Through pain, Lee always had a smile on his face, so that others might see God’s Light reflected through him. Lee encouraged the weary, visited the sick, rejoiced with the healed, married, new births, and especially each Eternal Salvation.

Lee preached The Words of Truth, and walked the gentle kindness of Jesus Christ, and he offered without expectation. Lee lived a humble, faithful life in service to Jesus Christ, his family, friends, congregation, and community. Lee walked through many valleys yet never lost trust in his savior. When others were weak, Lee lifted them up, when others were discouraged, Lee pointed them toward hope. May Lee’s life be remembered by his radiant smile, hearty “Hello!”; and as a testimony of strong faith, perseverance, and the exceeding joyful love of Jesus Christ.

Now, gracious God, we thank You for Lee’s eternal rest. Let Lee hear the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” May Lee know peace beyond all suffering and joy in Your presence “forever”! (Psalm 23) Comfort those who mourn today. Wrap their hearts in Your Peace, remind them that death is not the end, but the doorway to everlasting life in You. LORD, we entrust Lee into Your loving arms, confident that his race is finished. Lee’s faith is fulfilled, and his reward is secure. In Jesus Holy name we pray, Amen.
