When your baby is uncomfortable and struggling, it can feel overwhelming as a parent — you just want to find answers and relief for them. That’s exactly how this mom felt after her son experienced shoulder dystocia at birth, leaving him with limited mobility in his right shoulder. It caused challenges with nursing, constant sleep disruption, and on top of that, she was also dealing with chronic hip pain herself that made it hard to even hold her baby. 😭
She shared, “It was frustrating trying to solve the problem because I wanted my son to feel comfortable and also get sleep to help with his development. I did not like seeing him suffer, and I just wanted to help him in any way I could.”
They did see another chiropractor in the beginning, which was helpful, but mom says the care plan at their PX Docs office made all the difference. “Coming multiple times a week, I was able to quickly see improvement for my son, and I was also seeing improvement in myself with getting care.”
When she saw her son’s neurological scans, she finally had clarity. “It was interesting to see his scans and also a relief to see that he was dealing with stress in certain areas of his body because it gave me answers to difficulties we were dealing with.” 💡
As care began, the changes came quickly. “Our son started feeling more comfortable, and his feeding issues as well as sleep were improving. I could tell he was relaxed in his body, which allowed for better sleep.” 💤
Now, both mom and baby are thriving. “I am no longer dealing with feeding issues or pain in my hips. My son is meeting all of his developmental milestones, and he is sleeping so much better. He was unable to sleep for more than an hour at a time, and now he has great naps and better nighttime sleep. I no longer worry about him being in pain and know that chiropractic care is helping him be the best he can be.” ❤️
