Let’s talk shave soap. Did you know it’s unlike any other soap formula? It is, and it takes a bit of research and understanding on how to stack the fatty acids in it, what proportions of potassium and sodium hydroxide to use, and how to ‘superfat’ it to make an excellent soap foam.

I’m very proud of my recipe, and I’ve converted some of my female customers to using it as well. It not only gives a clean shave, but the cocoa butter and tussah silk in it leaves your skin feeling so silky. It’s also why I decided to include Hugs & Kisses in my scent line up. Although, you’d be surprised how many of my men customers enjoy this scent too!

I’m just going to be real. I feel so down in the dumps today. Overwhelmed. Apathetic. Tired. If you have a funny please add it in the comments. I could use it!

And considering it decided to snow here again, after a few days of spring weather, First Snow triple butter soap seemed fitting to share. This one has such a clean and fresh scent, and a buttery lather that delicately cleanses.

Do I have some type of cabin fe**sh?! Here’s two different soaps I’ve named with it. What can I say? I like a good cabin! 😝

Both of these soaps are all about rustic comfort. Cabin Comfort is a goat milk soap scented with sandalwood, lavender, and benzoin resin. Cabin Fever is all about warm vanilla mixed with woods and musk. Both are legit. 🙌

Here in Western PA today it feels like springtime is flirting with us! Swoon. 🥰

What a perfect day to highlight my lovely Lily of the Valley Double Butter Soap.

It features kaolin clay and tussah silk.. and, well, fills your senses with the aroma of spring. Maybe it’ll let you forget about all mud that comes along with the great thaw. 😅
