We are the oldest existing optometry office in Oakdale, serving the community for over 80 years. We are pleased to offer a variety of optometric services and eye care products including glasses, contact lenses and specialty frames. Our entire staff is trained and knowledgeable and is ready to make you look your best. Dr. Jim Winnick, who took over the practice from Dr. Tom Mihok in 2019, has always enjoyed practicing comprehensive eye care. Listening carefully to patients to meet their individual lifestyle needs is his passion. He specializes in contact lenses and dry-eye treatment; as well as ocular and systemic health management. Outside the office, he is a dog dad of 5 and horse dad of 2. He enjoys training his bird dogs, racing his wiener dog, and competitive mounted shooting. Dr. Tom Mihok has been practicing in Oakdale for over 40 years, specializing in complete eye exams and treatment of disorders of the eye, including glaucoma. In his spare time, Dr. Mihok loves to travel with his wife, Karen, and spend time with their 8 grandchildren.
