"After visiting other care homes and establishments, our family kept coming back to Astoria. We have had many elderly friends housed there over the years. The establishment is always clean smelling. the clients seem happy and content. The staff have a good repour with the clients and do fun things with them daily be it arts and crafts, making donuts, or a drive in the country during almond blossom time. What an incredible day filled with chrome, classics, and community! We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this year’s Astoria Car Show a success.

💜 A special shout-out to our amazing outside agencies who generously donated beautiful baskets for our auction — your contributions helped us raise funds for a cause close to our hearts. All proceeds will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association, supporting the fight for a cure.

👏 We’re also deeply grateful to our staff, residents, and their families for bringing out their stunning classic cars and sharing their passion with all of us. And of course, a heartfelt thank-you to the car clubs who joined us — your cars turned heads and made the event extra special!

Had a fun outing with our amazing residents today! 🛍️ We stopped by Hobby Lobby and Ross for a little retail therapy, then wrapped up the afternoon with a delicious meal at Panda Express 🍜🐼. So many smiles, laughs, and great finds—it's always a joy spending time together! ❤️
