We are hiring!

Are you interested in becoming a medical assistant? Our practice has a proven history of helping multiple medical assistants gain admission to highly competitive RN, PA, NP, and MD programs.

We are seeking full-time medical assistants/scribes to join our thriving dermatology practice in Oakland and Lafayette. Experience is not required, but it is a plus.

The primary role of the medical assistant/scribe is to assist providers during examinations, medical and cosmetic procedures, and MOHS surgery.

Melanoma Monday.

Melanoma in situ was discovered by shave biopsy on the left lateral back during a routine skin exam. A full excision was performed weeks later and the patient should be seen every 3 months for a year after diagnosis.

Melanoma is the most serious type of skin cancer, but when detected and treated early, it is most likely to be cured. An annual skin exam and scheduling office visits when a lesion has evolved or newly appeared can save your life. Some people may be at a higher risk, but anyone can get a melanoma.
