One of the best antidotes to trauma is Self Care & Sisterhood.

Be a part of this healing movement by joining myself and other practitioners bringing healing into the community for those who have experienced trauma this Saturday, organized by SAAN (Sexual Assault Advocacy Network).

If you or someone you know is in need of some healing— bring yourself, tell a friend, bring a friend, etc.

I will be leading a conversation on treating our entire being as temple coupled with an embodied womb healing practice steeped in the Kemetic tradition.

Our Sacred Mission, On Purpose

Oakland, California-based Sacred Roots Wellness is a healing sanctuary that witnesses and inspires individuals to optimal health of mind, body and spirit through the use of nature’s blessings- food, herbs & body movement.

In addition to nutrition and herbal consultations, we have broadened our horizons over the past ten years to include guided seasonal group cleanses as a way to support individuals in optimizing their health and vitality while re-aligning with nature’s rhythms. We see our human family as integral to our earth mother’s ecology, needing an exorbitant amount of love, care and attention in its evolution.

We find inner peace to be a fundamental birthright that inspires authentic wellness, leading us to provide private and group yoga and mindfulness classes as a resource for individuals to return home to themselves at any moment.

We also offer a line of herbal products that are organic, handcrafted and made with love. We feel that if it’s not safe enough to ingest, it should not be put on the skin. This is why we began crafting our own products that nourish from the inside out and outside in!
