Specificity doesn’t mean more time… it’s KNOWING how the whole body connects and being able to feel the pattern your body is currently in.The muscles, bones, fascia and nervous system are ALWAYS all involved. We notice areas of tension or compression in your body, increased tone, decreased tone, restriction of normal movement, decreased expansion with breath and non ideal compensations occurring throughout the WHOLE body…Then focus in on the structures that are holding that specific pattern, and provide an adjustment that will create the most full body ease so it can change the pattern. The change is healing. For the Doctor who has adjusted 1000’s of people, fully present, always in discovery mode, this can be done quickly and often with more specificity for what is needed and how it can be delivered. P.S. it’s often seen what’s needed just as we watch you walk in through the door. IYKYK.
