What is Sciatica? Sciatica occurs when the Sciatic nerve is compressed by a tight muscle in the gluteal area, a herniated disc, or misalignment of the vertebrae in the lumbar region of the spine. This can cause pain or tingling that shoots into the hip or down the leg.

In order to treat sciatica, you can utilize any of the modalities we offer at Dimond Chiropractic and Oakland Laser Pain Center. Adjustments will help align any pain coming from lumbar spine and hip, massage will help with tight glute muscles, and laser will help reduce inflammation and nerve pain.

Normal wear and tear on our joints happen when we are active and enjoying life. Our patients have seen major improvement in plantar fasciitis as well has knee pain. Swelling reduces after a few treatments as well as improved range of motion with no pain.
