The Breema Center

The Breema Center Breema is a practical method that unifies body, mind, and feelings to support harmony and presence.

Breema® is a simple, natural form of touch and body movement supported by nine universal principles. Breema Bodywork®, Self-Breema Exercises®, and The Nine Principles of Harmony are natural expressions of the unifying principle of Existence.

Existence exists without force. The nature of Existence is to exist. So to not use force, you have to become natural. We are unnatural, because we jump from past to future, from future to past. And we lose the very essence of life. The essence of life is the present. The present has one foot in time, but its nature is Timeless. It’s an expression of the moment. In the moment, there is no force. —from Coming to Yourself by Jon Schreiber

In Breema, we say: “The emphasis is on the practitioner.” Why? Because there is no possibility for you to really know the recipient. You can never truly know what they think, what they feel, what their body needs. But, if you connect to yourself, instead of trying to figure out the recipient, you become present. When you are present, the recipient responds to your emanation, and an atmosphere of acceptance is created. Your emanation and the recipient’s emanation work together and move towards balance and harmony. It’s as though there is one body. —from The Art of Being Present by Jon Schreiber

Breema gives the body new possibilities to become less subject to our mechanical crystallizations, by changing the relationship of the parts to the systems they belong to. For example, your hand really becomes part of your arm, and your arm, part of your whole body. Breema helps the mind become connected to the body in a correct way. —from Coming to Yourself by Jon Schreiber

It’s very precious to be able to touch another human body without judgment. Ordinarily, we look at each other through our associations. We relate to each other through the filter of our associations. We don’t really see each other. But when you touch someone nonjudgmentally, you have more respect for them. You discover you even have love for them. When you have an opportunity, at least shake hands with people. Don’t let your connection to people be only verbal! —from Coming to Yourself by Jon Schreiber

The magic of Breema is in the emanation of Awareness, expressing itself in your movement, in your touch, through your hands. In fact, the body itself is also that Awareness. You simply remove the obstacles to Existence expressing itself, by not identifying with your thoughts or feelings.
Breema is the activity of the body without interference from the mind and feelings. When mind and feelings are quiet, Existence enters, and then Breema is Existence giving to Existence, life giving to life. —from Coming to Yourself by Jon Schreiber

Breema can unify the body and bring it to be whole. Every movement in every treatment is unifying. Each and every Breema sequence has been practiced and proven countless times. Each has shown itself to have an organizing, harmonizing, centering, balancing effect. The vitality we feel after receiving Breema comes from returning to balance and harmony. Breema is based on the instinctive wisdom that understands the natural laws governing the body and governing life. —from The Art of Being Present by Jon Schreiber

Nothing in the universe dies. Everything that exists is eternal. We think the body dies, because it goes back to the earth. But is the earth dead? No—the soil is alive. Every atom that composes it could be made to give off an enormous quantity of light. We are light. We come from light and we return to light. The whole of Existence is vibration. Its nature is light. —from Coming to Yourself by Jon Schreiber
