The hundreds is a classical Pilates exercise which will 100% light up your core.
There are many ways to modify - leave your knees bent (pictured) to protect your lower back, or reach them out for challenge. Lower your head if your neck needs a rest. Roll up higher to get deeper into those upper abs!

Standing work with the Reformer not only benefits hip strength, it improves balance. As you move the carriage, the spring tension changes, and your body constantly has to recalibrate to maintain form. Balance work is great at injury prevention - we like to say it makes your body smarter! πŸ’ͺπŸ€“

Who's up for feeling younger this year? πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

One tenet of Pilates is spinal mechanics - in each class, you'll safely move your spine in all directions AND work on spinal articulation, a practice which lubricates the spine and helps to hydrate our spinal discs. You may even notice you have to adjust your rear-view mirror when you drive away from class - you'll be sitting taller!
