If you’ve been with Corpo Kinetic for awhile, you may know the story of opening our studio at 6338 Telegraph - endless construction delays, years of stalled work due to a ginormous bureaucratic mess, and the grit and perseverance which finally got us here.  Our photo shoot last month felt like such a lovely culmination of the work to open this community home for movement, strength, and alignment.  What a great, awesome, EXHALE!

The hundreds is a classical Pilates exercise which will 100% light up your core.
There are many ways to modify - leave your knees bent (pictured) to protect your lower back, or reach them out for challenge. Lower your head if your neck needs a rest. Roll up higher to get deeper into those upper abs!

Who's up for feeling more open, bold, and grounded in 2024? We won't say hip strength will do all of that for you, but we will definitely say it can help! We work on hip strength to benefit the joints both above and below - relaxed lower back, easy knees, and grounded feet.

Standing work with the Reformer not only benefits hip strength, it improves balance. As you move the carriage, the spring tension changes, and your body constantly has to recalibrate to maintain form. Balance work is great at injury prevention - we like to say it makes your body smarter! 💪🤓

If you're a cyclist, you spend a lot of your active time with your hips creased and knees bent. Finding your core strength with the hips more open and knees more extended not only is a unique challenge, it's great for your back!
