A: The life skill of eliminating harmful, habitual muscle tension throughout your body.
Q: Why learn the Alexander Technique?
A: This tension you're holding is why you slouch, why your neck, back, shoulders (pick a joint!) often hurts. Releasing that tension gets rid of the pain. It also makes you look better because you're taller and more graceful.
