My name is Donna Ricketts and I originally started GoodFoodMama as a result, of the many conversations with my two daughters about healthy and not-so-healthy snacks, school lunches, and building a healthy relationship with food. I am a health educator, nutrition coach, and fitness instructor passionate about helping others make healthy choices to reach their best health potential.

A decade of transformation ✨From navigating the challenges of divorce and loss to watching my daughters blossom into incredible young adults, it’s been a journey of growth. I’ve faced my share of setbacks and heartaches, but as 2026 begins, I’m embracing change with intention and discipline as I move into alignment.

This year is all about honoring myself and moving forward because change only happens when changes happen.

Another rotation around the sun! Yesterday was a day full of birthday wishes from near and far (via phone, text, DMs FB and IG) and time spent with people I love and doing some of my favorite things that bring me so much joy!

Afternoon boost in a glass! Whipping up this delicious banana 🍌 and berry 🫐smoothie with a sprinkle of h**p seeds and a scoop of creatine.

Packed with 10g of protein, 10g of fiber, and a blend of vitamins and minerals. And I can’t forget a handful of cashews and walnuts to top it off (9 grams of protein & 3 grams of fiber) - being intentional with what I put in my body!
