In your center is your power. Are you using it or dispersing it?

Life will disappoint, people will let you down, the unexpected WILL happen. but you can turn anything around when you are connected to & GROWING your inner power.

Believe in it, invest in it, prioritize it and don’t be pulled away by distractions. Spend less time with people who drain your energy. DO all you can to make space for your CENTER of powerto grow. It’s the only thing you will ever truly possess and it is the most important thing to cultivate. It will affect all areas of your life.

I’ll never forget the low time in my life when I was so depresses that I questioned if it was even worth it to forward. 😢This is why I NEVER take my happiness and wellbeing for granted. Everyday I think of reasons to be grateful. Finding internal balance in the face of all life’s challenges is a delicate balancing act! When it starts to feel off balance I go back to the basics.
✨My Yoga Practice + some cardio.
✨Prioritize sleep (less alcohol, saying no to late night plans)
✨Eating with love for my body & above all practicing self kindness for doing the best I can.

Keep looking up to the open sky, and remember how beautiful, needed & limitless you are. ✨❤️

I feel so blessed to have an amazing family & to have grown up with the huge blessing of knowing what it feels like to be loved unconditionally.

But I know that this isn’t the case for everyone, & on this holiday many find themselves missing family who are no longer here, or feeling estranged b/c their family isn’t exactly picture perfect -to say the least!

Our culture has a strong impact on how we feel…it promotes ideas of what we should have in order to be happy and acceptable. Remember there is no “normal” and if this holiday brings up the hard stuff for you, YOU are not alone, you deserved to be LOVED for who you ARE, and you can choose who your family is this holiday, & in this lifetime. ✨🎄✨

I feel so lucky to have my amazing friend & photographer here on this yoga retreat! It’s been sooooo fun to wake up early together while it’s still dark outside, (coffee in hand of course!). I get to take in all the beauty around me while she is in her element, snapping away, creating magic with the sunrise!

Refueling our energy tank can come in many forms. Know the unique needs of our body is something we learn over time! One simple practice I love to do is “just start with 5 min”!

Whether it’s 5 min of:
Yoga
Meditation
Taking a walk around the block
Doing lunges or push ups
Breath work
Jumping jacks…

Give it a try, you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the results.

Healthy build with small consistent action. 🤗
