Keeps pets away from garlic, onion, grapes, raisins, macadamia nuts, fatty meats, xylitol-sweetened foods, and chocolate! We hope you have a fabulous week!

Keep away all chocolate and xylitol-sweetened candies. If your pet is comfortable wearing a costume, remove small parts that could be swallowed. Have a fun and safe night!

EYE OPENING Facts about our pets’ vision!

-Dogs and cats have a third eyelid to help
protect and lubricate the eye.
-The tapetum lucidum is a reflective surface
behind the retina that improves night
vision (and makes your pet's eyes glow!).
-The whiskers above your pet's eyes serve
to protect the eyes.
-Dogs and cats have better night vision than
humans.
-Dogs have round pupils while cats have
vertical slits.
-Dog's "eyebrows" are not actual
eyebrows, but markings called pips.
-Dogs and cats can develop many of the same eye issues as humans, such as:
• Glaucoma • Corneal ulcers • Dry eve
• Cataracts • Pink eye • Eyelash disorders
Please see our vets if you notice any
symptoms of eye problems such as swelling,
discharge, squinting, or a cloudy appearance.
