Join us for this week’s free Community Friday Event! This time we’re welcoming the team from Made In Cookware for a live, hands-on cooking demo!

As part of this live demo we will get to see a comparison between Made In’s 5-Ply Stainless Clad and Carbon Steel Fry Pans. We will prepare trumpet mushrooms to highlight heat control, searing performance, and inherent non-stick capabilities. Learn simple pro tips and explore which materials would feel right for your kitchen.

This role will assist in both our retail store and our weekly workshops and events!

Preserved is growing! Our kitchen and fermentation shop in Rockridge is looking to expand our team with a friendly, motivated part-time shop assistant. If you’re passionate about cooking, curious about fermentation & food preservation, and love helping people discover new skills, this could be the perfect fit. In addition to assisting customers and keeping the store running smoothly, you’ll also help support some of our hands-on workshops and create an inviting, educational atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors.

What We’re Looking For:
-Team Spirit: You love being part of a small, but growing team and are excited to contribute to our growth and success.
-Fermentation Nerd: You already have some familiarity/ experience making homemade ferments and preserves.
-Workshop Enthusiast: You have a genuine interest in the workshops we offer and are eager to learn!
