She is passionate about Women’s Health, Weight Loss, and Functional Endocrinology (hormone balancing). Dr. Rachelle addresses such concerns by utilizing modalities such as Nutritional medicine (therapeutic diets and nutrient supplements), Botanical medicine, Chinese medicine, Homeopathy, and Physical medicine. At the core of all of this is health education and lifestyle counseling. Dr. Rachelle loves working with people and draws on experiences in working in various communities and with various cultures. Dr. Rachelle has joined Holistic Fertility Center after completing a primary care Residency program in San Francisco. She received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from National College of Natural Medicine (now National University of Natural Medicine) in Portland, Oregon. During this time, Dr. Rachelle did rotations in Chronic Care, Women’s Health, Naturopathic Cardiopulmonary Care, and Botanical and Anthroposophical medicine. Dr. Rachelle has always had a love for nature and natural medicine before she even knew that natural medicine existed. Growing up in North Carolina she was so active in science, agriculture and livestock programs that she decided to earn her baccalaureate degree in Chemistry with a Biochemistry concentration. While doing cancer research, she saw the need for prevention medicine and decided to return to school for a Masters in Public Health Education. She would later encounter a naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist who exposed her to Naturopathic Medicine. When Dr. Rachelle is not working with patients, she enjoys teaching, running or hiking, boxing for health, quilting, cooking different healthy dishes, and traveling to see family and friends.
