Paolo graduated with a Master’s in Chinese Medicine from American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) in San Francisco.

During Paolo's internship, she offered acupuncture at the Lifelong Berkeley Primary Care Program, Haight-Ashbury Free Clinic, the donation-based ACTCM Auricular Clinic, and the California Pacific Medical Center. Paolo is excited to share the endless benefits of Chinese Medicine with you. Offering a variety of modalities, she develops a plan to fit all of your individual health and wellness needs. With the use of acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion, nutrition, and lifestyle counseling, Chinese Medicine can support your unique healing process. Hello 👋 it’s been a wild week bruh. 🤡 Moving out of my house, election news swirls, corona, taxes, and the everyday ups and downs of grief and gratitude. I have been slowly saying goodbye to patients and preparing to close shop for a bit. Some patients I have been seeing for 4 plus years and some just the last 4 weeks. If your feeling inspired, I expanded my hours my last two weeks and have some sessions open if you want to pop in. Some sliding scale spots available too. 🌿 How are you? Taking breaks from work and the news? Last night Herbs for Heartbreak & Grief class was a success! We learned about some of my fave herbs like rose, holy basil, ashwagandha, milky oats and so much more. We talked tinctures, flower essences, boundaries, and even got to talking about brain pathways for heartbreak, falling in and out of love, and all the weird science behind our achey desire for that dopamine hit. Happy 2020 and Lunar New Year. Wishing everyone an abundant year of the Rat. I have some exciting and bittersweet news to share. After 5 amazing years of my Oakland, CA based private practice and community events, I have decided to take a sabbatical. I know I know. WHOA! I love Oakland, my job, my friends, and family here. As my 39th birthday approaches, I am finding more and more reasons to take a break from the Bay Area. I will be spending some time focusing on creative projects in the desert then off to Japan and Asia. My last day in the office will be Monday, March 16th. This is not goodbye- I would really love to keep in touch. The Bay Area is my home and I have deep ties to community and family here. I plan on coming back to town very often and hosting acupuncture events and pop up clinics for everyone. If you would like to keep in touch and added to the email list, please let me know. Words cannot describe how much I have learned and grown as a person and practitioner with y’all. For all those I’ve had the pleasure and privilege to give acupuncture to - whether my private practice or a community event- Thank you. Deep gratitude and love for all that I have learned from you.
