The BeWell program, a partnership between HopeLink and the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board, is at risk of losing its county funding, putting essential services for hundreds of Fairfax residents in jeopardy. We are asking for your support in protecting this program by signing and sharing our petition.

BeWell serves individuals living with mental health challenges by going beyond traditional care. By integrating primary health care into behavioral health settings, the program fills critical gaps in our system and supports the overall well-being of both youth and adults with serious mental illnesses.

This program plays a vital role in whole-person care, helping individuals access the resources they need to live healthier, more stable lives.

At HopeLink Behavioral Health, we believe everyone deserves the support they need to live a healthy, independent, and fulfilling life.

Our Mental Health Skills-Building Services empower adults experiencing mental or behavioral health challenges through personalized, life skills training tailored to each individual’s unique goals. This person-centered, recovery-oriented, and strengths-based approach helps individuals build the tools they need to manage daily life and cope with complex challenges.

One powerful example of this impact is a client who came to us facing significant challenges, including unstable housing, personal hygiene concerns, hoarding, and difficulty managing physical health conditions. Initially, he was strongly opposed to moving into an assisted living facility.

Through the trust and rapport built with our Community Support Services team, along with close collaboration with the local Community Services Board, he was able to make a positive and informed decision to transition into an assisted living facility.

Today, he is thriving. He consistently attends medical appointments, maintains his personal hygiene and daily living activities, and has begun participating in group activities and building friendships in his new community.

Stories like this remind us that with the right support, meaningful change is always possible.

We’re excited to share that our Transition to Independence Process (TIP) program is growing, serving additional youth and young adults in our community.

TIP is designed to support youth with emotional or behavioral difficulties as they navigate the journey into adulthood. Through personalized planning, skill-building, and supportive connections, TIP empowers participants to build confidence, pursue their goals, and create a path toward greater independence.

Beginning in spring 2026, a new internship program will expand the capacity of TIP, helping us reach and support additional youth. With this expansion, we will be able to see more youth who have no means to pay, ensuring that youth and families can access the support they need without financial barriers.

We’re proud to expand this impactful program and continue walking alongside young people as they transition into the next chapter of their lives.

Did You Know?

Our Crisis Services team handled over 395,000 total contacts, including more than 218,000 calls answered, 108,000 texts and chats, and 68,000 outbound calls and follow-ups during our 2025 fiscal year, through the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

That means hundreds of thousands of moments when someone chooses to reach out rather than face their struggle alone. Every call answered, every text responded to, and every follow-up made represents connection, compassion, and hope in action.

We are honored to be a trusted resource for our community during some of life’s hardest moments. Thank you for helping HopeLink continue to provide immediate, caring support when it matters most.

During Random Acts of Kindness Week, our Stepping Stones Interpersonal Skills group is learning that kindness can be simple, creative, and powerful. From adding kindness-focused questions to their icebreaker activity to sharing handmade flowers through their paper garden, our clients are finding ways to show care for themselves and others, one thoughtful act at a time.

At HopeLink, we are grateful to support spaces where connection, creativity, and kindness help strengthen mental wellness in our community!

This Random Acts of Kindness Week, we’re grateful for the community that makes HopeLink’s work possible. Your kindness helps us support mental wellness every day.

Throughout the week, we'll be sharing ways you can show acts of kindness. Whether it’s checking in on a friend, writing an encouraging note, volunteering your time, or simply listening without judgment, small acts of kindness can make a big difference for someone’s mental health.

We are deeply grateful to our supporters for their ongoing commitment to mental wellness and to the HopeLink community!
