Alpha Care provides daily activities that include, but are not limited to; community cleanup, gardening, music, movies, and crafts, socializing with friends, exercising, cultural trips and independent living skills. Our activities are always educational and stimulate self- awareness, encourage socialization while providing the physical, rehabilitative, and social services that improve an individual’s level of independence. Our activities are chosen by the individuals, they share their interests and make suggestions and we make it happen!

We had an awesome trip to Dollar Tree, worked hard, made homemade Christmas ornaments, and practiced interviews for community jobs! 😊

We had the best Wednesday! We made homemade Christmas ornaments, worked on cars to decorate our transportation themed area, and had some of our SSA’s come to present different technology devices to us that could benefit our lives! Always a fun day around here! 😊

We had such a wonderful day with friends! We had a lesson on sequencing by paying attention to a fun Halloween story and we also got to melt some broken crayons down to make new crayons to color with! We love seeing all these smiles! 🤗

Money math & self-advocacy! 💰⚖️ Today we had a great lesson on counting coins and bills! We also had Attorney Jacob come to present a legal self-advocacy lesson (which we all loved)! What a successful Monday! 🤗

Today we had a paid baking lesson- winning!! 🧁🥳 We all pitched in to make some cupcakes this morning! Everyone got to frost their own this afternoon & then almost everyone ate theirs before we coule get pictures! They were spooky good. Have an awesome weekend, friends! 🤗

Today could not have been any better! We started our morning with a dance party(my favorite! 😊) We had a few friends who have expressed interest in learning to cook, so we made sloppy joes for lunch. They were absolutely delicious by the way!😋 We made bracelets with friends, played games like basketball, pool, and uno, announced our coloring contest winners, and learned a lot in our photography lesson this afternoon! 📸

We had the best lesson on eagles today!! 🦅 We all learned a lot! We made some delicious sandwiches for lunch and we also worked on some more Christmas ornaments to share with some of our local nursing home residents! Soaring through the week is a breeze when you’re having this much fun 😊
