“Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Proverbs 31:29
Wanda Marcantel has faithfully served as the Office Assistant at Brighton Bridge Hospice since 2014, but her strong work ethic began much earlier—she started working at the age of 15. This month, she looks forward to stepping into a well earned season of semi retirement.
Wanda’s hobbies include traveling, gardening, yard work, and fishing. Above all, faith and family are the most important parts of her life. Wanda is truly the epitome of grace. Even while facing a deeply personal tragedy that profoundly affected her and her family, her faith in God never wavered. Her love of life and people shine through in everything she does and stands as a beautiful example of the Godly woman she is.
Wanda’s husband, Gary, her children, and her grandchildren are her greatest blessings. Madden (P3) will surely keep her busy as she follows his football and baseball career.
We will miss you terribly, Wanda, but we know you’ll only be a phone call away whenever we need your help. Thank you for always being the one to step in any time anyone needed anything.
And of course, Sadie, BBH’s resident dachshund, will certainly miss the treats from her “Maw Maw” Wanda.
