What is scoliosis?

Scoliosis is a condition of abnormal curvature in the spine. In this condition there is a three-dimensional deviation of the column, that is, a lateral deviation that at the same time also presents a rotation or torsion. The lateral deviation, characteristic of a spine with scoliosis, can be S or C-shaped, that is, the scoliosis can be one-curved or double-curved. The deviation mainly affects the dorsal and lumbar region, although it can also affect the cervical spine. Commonly, scoliosis is diagnosed during childhood or adolescence. Lateral deviation and vertebral rotation usually get worse during growth. This phase is the most important because is it better to start treatment the younger a patient is. The younger the patients, the better the results are during the treatment.

Responsabilidades:

Asistir al paciente, desde su llegada a la clínica hasta su salida.

Manejo completo de pacientes en el programa Chirotouch.

Coordinación de citas de pacientes.

Cobrar al paciente por los servicios ofrecidos.

Llamadas a planes médicos para verificaciones de cubiertas.

Realizar llamadas al paciente para distintos asuntos relacionados al servicio que ofrecemos.

Pasar los pacientes a los cuartos de tratamiento.

Organizar la agenda de pacientes

Completar informes diarios.

Colocar y remover letreros de promoción.

Promocionar clínica con los distintos comercios, centros de cuidado, centros de servicios de salud, fabricas, etc.

Participar en ferias de salud según se coordinen.

Mantener y organizar archivos.

Responsibilities:
-Assist the patient, from arrival to departure.
-Coordination of patient appointments.
-Charge the patient for the services offered.
-Calls to health plans for coverage information.
-Move patients to the treatment rooms.
Organize the patient agenda
-Complete daily reports.
-Place and remove promotional signs.
Promote the clinic at different shops, care centers, health service centers, factories, etc.
-Participate in health fairs as coordinated.
-Maintain and organize files.

Did you know... that having an incorrect posture when using cell phones, laptops and tablets can cause the syndrome called "Text neck".

This can cause headaches, neck, shoulders and back pain and it also causes alterations in the alignment of your spine.

It is recommended to have a better posture while using your electronic equipment. This will help to prevent having pains and aches. The screen of your electronic device should be raised to eye level or positioned so that you do not have to lower your head to see it.
Another recommendation is to visit your chiropractor regularly so that with manipulations and physical therapy you can maintain a healthy and pain free spine.
