Sometimes when I see a new client who has been getting lash extensions elsewhere, I have to share news that no lash artist enjoys delivering: their natural lashes have been damaged.
I promise you — this conversation does not make my job easier, more profitable, or more enjoyable. In fact, it usually makes my work much harder.
When lashes have been compromised, we enter what I call “lash rehab.”
That means working with fewer healthy lashes, choosing safer lengths and weights, scheduling more frequent fills, and focusing on regrowth and lash health before aesthetics.
The reality is that lash rehab sets rarely look as full as clients hope on day one. Healing lashes takes time, patience, and proper care.
Healthy extensions should never feel uncomfortable.
If your lashes hurt, pinch, feel heavy, or constantly twist — something is wrong with the application.
Your natural lashes do much more than hold extensions. They help protect your eyes from debris, sweat, and irritation. Protecting them should always be the priority.
If I ever tell you that your lashes need a break or a recovery plan, please know that it comes from a place of experience and care. My goal is always to help you have beautiful lashes that are also healthy for the long term.
✨ Your natural lashes matter.
✨ Lash health always comes first.
