Our theme this year was “Board Games”. We loved dressing up and getting to see all of our TheraKids’ families who stopped by dressed in their costumes. Thank you all for coming by to see us. It made our day!

It’s that wonderful time of year!

Thursday, we will be hosting our annual Trick-or-Treat with TheraKids from 9 AM until 4 PM. We will be dressing up this year in a super fun theme and invite all of our current and former families of TheraKids to come see us. Make sure to wear your costumes, stop in, say hello, and get some treats.

Also, our pumpkin contest starts tomorrow. Make sure to watch this page so that you can vote for your favorite pumpkin. Voting will be held online and in office until Thursday at 11 AM.

Check out this local Water Safety Workshop that is FREE to families of children with special needs.

💧Did you know drowning is the leading cause of death for individuals with special needs?

Join the City of Ocala for a life-saving workshop in honor of National Water Safety Month in May. This therapeutic recreation program empowers families with critical water safety skills by teaching participants how to safely exit the water in case of a fall and develop floating and treading techniques.

In the first half of the workshop, parents and caregivers will learn essential water safety practices outside the pool. The second half brings both parents and participants into the pool with Certified Swim Instructors for hands-on water safety training, followed by free time to practice and enjoy the water together.

Important Information: Participants must attend Day One to participate in Day Two. A parent or caregiver is required to accompany the participant in the pool.

Make this summer safe and fun—don’t miss this essential workshop!

Online voting will be open through Thursday, December 17th. Anyone can vote. One vote per voter. Doors are listed below by door title and number to help with identification. But, when you vote, you can just put the number. Make sure to cast your vote on this original post.

It’s time to announce our winners! 🙌🏻🎉🥳

First place for in-office voting is Miss Audrey. She made such an intricate and beautiful pumpkin carousel.

Second place for in-office votes is Mrs. Melissa. Her Stitch is so cute and expressive.
