Lauderhill firefighter and paramedic Joshua Schwabenbauer made organ donation his mission, encouraging his whole department to register. After he passed, his “yes” saved 4 lives and helped many more through tissue donation.

In the Sun Sentinel’s Jewish Journal, his mother, Sharon, writes, “One of the greatest gifts any of us can give is the gift of life.”

Krissy lit up the world with her warmth and left a lasting legacy through donation.

She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Known for her compassion, honesty, and her deep love for her children. Krissy’s final act of kindness was becoming a tissue donor, changing lives through her generosity.
