It's been a very busy first year of exhibiting my art. I have never wanted to show my work. Painting was always for more personal reasons. A sweet friend named Suzanne died in Feb 2024. She always wanted me to show my art. To honor her memory, I joined the local artist group through Marion Cultural Aliance, placed my entry into color pop in Sept 2024, and broke the chains that bound my fears. Barely a year into it, and I am so thankful for all the community support. As I conquer fears weekly, this was my year to be fearless! I've had a lot of challenging moments, as there will always be people who don't wish you success.

Faith over Fear has been my motto during this past year of being fearless. I love my Lord and Savior Jesus, people, and being creative, and I feel blessed to put all three together in what I do daily.

Playing with fabric back in October...had some jeans from the kids as they grew up that I always wanted to do something with. I made a rag wreath years back with beautiful denim flowers on it, that hangs over my fireplace multiple times each year. Gallery downtown put out a fabric artist call, and I answered. Stop by Dec 5th and check out my designs in person. All designs are for sale. Hopefully, I will have time to get them listed on StacieRae.com today.

Being creative comes in many forms. Being an artist doesn't mean you have to paint or draw. I've seen amazing nail artists, beautifully put together meals, cakes with textures, and great colors...the list truly goes on. What's your niche?
