Heroic Bystanders Honored in Ocala

At yesterday’s city council meeting, Ocala Fire Rescue Fire Rescue recognized four everyday heroes for saving a life at a local fitness center. Mike Crimi, Tom Culpepper, Katie Freeman, and Rafael Rosa jumped into action when someone experienced cardiac arrest. Using an AED and administering CPR — all before emergency units arrived — their swift intervention directly contributed to the person’s survival
