While sorting through loads of clothing, trying to find something cute, a little jazzy (because let’s be honest, I never leave the house, so when I do it better be a moment), but also warm enough for a disrespectful 50-degree night that my Florida blood simply did not consent to… I snapped.

I’m standing there, clothes all over my closet, trying to get ready for Kaytranada - ready to shake a little something - and yet nothing in my closet wanted to cooperate. Every piece was giving: “Don’t pick me.” “I’m not the one.” “Girl.. not today.”

So yeah… after fighting for my life in a pile of fabric, I realized my closet has been keeping secrets and none of them were cute.

If you’re anything like me, whenever that mystical (I really mean delusional — and not the good kind) urge hits to shoot an ex a text to “find closure”, I immediately do two things:

1. Check the Moon status.
2. See if Mercury is direct or deep in her retrograde chaos.

Because honey, absolutely not. No one needs to be sending paragraphs during pre-shadow season.

Something about Mercury retrograde always makes the past look prettier (and I’m a sucker for nostalgia). The memories soften, and the red flags blush like they weren’t waving in 4K. Suddenly you’re reminiscing about the “good times” that let’s be honest, were probably 70% miscommunication and 30% wishful thinking.

So if you feel the pull to send that “searching for closure” text this week… maybe let Mercury deliver that message to the Moon instead.

As I slowly crawl out from the depths of my creative cocoon, with my tarot deck in hand, I pulled some cards to see what the Super Beaver Moon in Ta**us wants us to know.

For the record, she said: “you better stop playin about yourself.”

Ta**us energy doesn’t rush (unless you’re me). She wants soft blankets, real boundaries, snacks that taste like love, and a bank account that doesn’t make your eye twitch. This full moon is our permission slip to ground down, clear out, and finally make peace with the part of us that’s always “working on ourselves”.

I’ve been in what I can only describe as a creative coma. No magic, no muse, no motivation. Just this quiet hum of nothingness that’s been both comforting and terrifying. So I did what any self-aware witch in a healing era would do: I disappeared. Logged out. Ghosted the algorithm like an ex who never deserved closure.

This Scorpio season has me reflecting on emotional rebirth and how shedding old layers feels less like a butterfly moment, and more like a full-blown exorcism in a silk slip dress..
