I get asked a lot on how to apply oils. This diagram from hellonatural.co has so far been the easiest to understand and the most informative. There is not just one location for most oils. There are multiple different application spots, but it all depends on how you feel it works best for you! Essential Oils are all about your body and your lifestyle!

Oils and Babies!
Did you know that your baby can benefit from Essential Oils right out the womb?! Birth can be very traumatic for babies, so using essential oils in your delivery room can benefit you both! You just need to know your facts!

Do:
Limit the amount of exposure your baby has to oils
Watch for any allergies to the aromas
Start with only diffusion
Be aware of certain oils (i.e. peppermint) are not suggested to be used around babies
All oils must be diluted properly, per age, for use topically

Do Not:
Do not apply oils directly to your child's skin until at least the age of 16
Do not apply oils topically on children younger than 6 months of age

Essential oils... There's a lot of controversy about oils, but I'm here to help answer all your questions and concerns! What are essential oils? EO are a plant derived product that works with your body's natural chemicals to assist with different things. I do not recommend the use of EO in place of modern medicine. Instead I suggest using them to work with your modern medicine, or depending on the ailment as a first step before medicine. For example, I would never suggest not taking your medication for arthritis; however, when you have severe flare ups trying the use of oils to your pain first. The idea is to help give you the same relief as medication without the harsh chemicals. Another example would be for headaches or colds, before you try Tylenol or NyQuil simply apply a headache blend or immune booster before that step. You may find the relief you want without taking medication... Again, essential oils are not meant to replace medicine. It is to simply offer a natural alternative that is a lot safer and healthier on your body first. Then if you still feel you need the relief of medicine use it.
