If there’s one thing our community is proud of, it’s our patriotism! 🇺🇸

We embraced the cooler weather and came together to honor our veterans with a heartfelt pinning ceremony led by Steve Sarkozy, Veteran Volunteer with Hospice of Marion County.

The Trinity Catholic High School Band filled the air with music, and before long, toes were tapping and smiles were everywhere. 💙

These ceremonies hold deep meaning — whether you’ve served, are a veteran’s spouse, or a supporter cheering from the crowd — thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special! ❤️

Cheers to 16 years of service for The Windsor of Ocala!

In honor of the occasion, we held a French-themed fête with vocals by Miranda Madison!

We donned our community with elegant florals and gleaming Eiffel Towers for the perfect backdrop, took photos and tasted from the selection of appetizers and charcuterie.

We’re so excited to have the opportunity share this milestone together and look forward to many more ahead!

Our night on the town featured a trip to Fiore’s Café!

The flavors and ambiance made it feel like we were transported to Italy as we dined on classic Italian fare like pasta, veal piccata and NY style pizza! Most enjoyable was the cozy atmosphere with friends!

Picnic at Silver Springs & Glass Bottom Boat Ride! ☀️

When you ask residents if they have memories from the past at Silver Springs State Park, the answer is almost always yes! So we took the opportunity to visit the historic park for a picnic in the sunshine and take a ride on the iconic Glass Bottom Boats!

Last week, western Wednesday Spirit Day was full of fun and country flair! 🤠

Residents donned cowboy hats and belt buckles while testing their aim with target shoots, egg basket tosses, and ring-the-bale games. They enjoyed their favorite classic country hits from Patsy Cline to George Strait, wrapped up the day with a gift basket raffle, and were treated to live entertainment by Dan and Terry, who brought their own style to beloved country favorites.

Last week on Tacky Tourist Tuesday, residents enjoyed a Travel-Themed Scavenger Hunt! 🔎

Everyone was invited to grab a passport and visit 5 “Destination Stations” throughout the community! After checking in at baggage claim, our passengers took a “multi-stop flight” to Paris, Italy, Hawaii, Hollywood, and Mexico!

There were surprises waiting at each station, including homemade French pastries and wearable souvenirs to collect - making it a day full of adventure, laughter, and memories! ✈️🌎
