Brainspotting is a type of therapy that helps people process and heal from emotional pain or trauma by using the connection between the eyes and the brain. Our trained therapist helps the person find a specific eye position—called a “brainspot”—that seems to link to where the brain is holding onto unprocessed feelings or memories. The brain works through those deep emotions, sometimes without needing to talk much about them. It’s kind of like unlocking a hidden room in the brain where tough experiences are stored, so healing can happen naturally. We are seeing great success with this therapy!
