Kimberly’s Center is beyond excited and incredibly grateful! 💙

Not only were we selected as a charity partner for the Children’s Charity Classic hosted by United Way of Marion County but our amazing riding team — decked out in full *Battleship* theme costumes — took home the WIN! 🚢⚓

Last night, we proudly accepted a $30,000 check, with an additional $20,000 to follow thanks to the leadership, creativity, and heart of the United Way staff and board — and of course some incredibly generous donors and sponsors who believe in caring for children.

That’s $50,000 that will go directly toward providing Trauma Therapy services to the children we are called to serve! Nine other fantastic Children's Charities and Programs walked away with checks totaling an estimated $120,000!

Thank you to E-ONE Fire Trucks (Official Site) for sponsoring our Team and Kunal Gaekwad for your generous gift!

🌐🛡️ National Internet Safety Day is a great reminder that keeping kids safe online is just as important as keeping them safe offline.

From social media and gaming to texting and streaming, children are navigating a digital world that can be exciting—but also risky. Open conversations, clear boundaries, and education make a powerful difference.

💙 Kimberly's Center for Child Protection is committed to protecting children by empowering families with prevention education, resources, and support. Teaching kids how to recognize unsafe situations online helps prevent exploitation before it happens.

✨ Tips for families today:

Keep communication open about online activity

Set age-appropriate privacy settings

Remind kids they can always come to a trusted adult

Encourage kindness and respect online

Together, we can help children feel confident, informed, and safe—online and everywhere else. 💻👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Have you ever wondered what happens to a child when the difficult decision is made to take them to foster care? Here in Marion County - Kimberly's Center stepped up back in 2018 and created the TIA Program!

Ever since then, children being removed by DCF are taken care of by our amazing team of Trauma Trained Advocates! We meet the physical and emotional needs of children while they wait for foster care right here at Kimberly's Center.

The immensely talented Ale Cretul APC Interiors & Architectural Photography designed this beautiful and safe space for our kids to be loved on while they go through a sometimes-scary process.

Our team is always in awe of the transformation that we see in our kiddos while they are with us. Many of the kids ask if they could live with us forever & cannot wait to come back to Kimberly's Center for their trauma therapy! Having all of these program together under one roof and with our expert staff is critical to healing!
