Are you signed up for the Sunrise to Sunset 5K Challenge? On April 25, compete in two 5Ks and earn the Sunrise to Sunset Challenge Medal!

Run the morning Race Against Child Abuse at 8 a.m. in Calesa Township in Ocala, and finish your day at the Ocala Cup 5K at 6 p.m. at Citizens Circle in Downtown Ocala. Then present both bibs at the Ocala Cup finish line to receive the exclusive Sunrise to Sunset commemorative medal.

It’s National Crime Victims' Rights Week and our Victim Advocates are here to help!

Do you feel afraid around your partner? Is their behavior controlling, threatening, or violent? Abuse is never your fault, and help is available. Leaving an abusive situation can be very dangerous, so it’s crucial to have a safety plan in place. For assistance, connect with an Victim Advocate or contact CASA Marion for support.

Our Victim Advocates provide critical support for victims of crime, including access to compensation, safety planning, and guidance through the criminal justice and social service systems. Our advocates also help victims understand their legal rights and explore all available options for assistance.

During the 2024-2025 year, Kimberly’s Center for Child Protection helped 283 children develop personalized safety plans. These plans empower children with strategies and tools to stay safe, build confidence, and take an active role in protecting themselves.
