JOB DESCRIPTION

We are an Acupuncture Facility nestled in the center of Ocala, FL that currently employs two acupuncturists (father and son) and several Massage Therapists as Acupuncture Assistants. A little bit about our Acupuncturists:

Dr. Zafer Sabawi AP, M.B.B Ch. (Cairo), Diploma Tuberculosis and Chest Disease (UK), Acupuncture Physician (FL License ) Diploma Ac. (NCCAOM), graduate of the Institute of Classical Acupuncture, has been practicing acupuncture since 1999 with special training from the Worsley Institute Instructors (UK). Overseas, Dr. Sabawi practiced internal medicine for several years prior to immigrating to America. He has worked as an instructor in Anatomy and Physiology at several colleges including Santa Fe Community College and Webster College. He has overseen research in the Pediatric Department for Infectious Diseases at the University of Florida, Shands and as the senior chemist in the Pathology Department. Dr. Sabawi believes that a holistic approach to health care brings about optimal well being. The physician is the instrument, God is the Healer.

Abdullah Sabawi is a state licensed, nationally certified acupuncture physician & Doctor of Oriental Medicine (FL License ). He earned his Masters of Acupuncture degree in 2014 at Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine in Gainesville, FL, 2014, gaining exceptional training in all aspects of Oriental medicine, with special emphasis Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis® developed by Leon Hammer, MD. In addition to his successful general practice, he offers effective facial enhancement treatments, body work and various styles of cupping therapy. He enjoys helping others along their path to wellness and feeling great.
