Every light tells a story. At Lights of Love, each shimmering glow represents someone remembered, someone cherished, someone whose love still guides us.

We invite you to gather with us on December 4 for Hospice of Marion County’s annual memorial tree lighting. This special evening celebrates the lives that continue to inspire compassion and connection.

Something special is taking shape in Ocala. Today we hosted a hard hat tour and check presentation to celebrate the progress of Empath Health's new dementia center, the first of its kind in the area and the future home of the Nancy Renyhart Dementia Education Program.

This center will be a place of hope and connection, offering caregiver training, education for first responders, and meaningful programs like Memory Cafés and the Virtual Dementia Tour®.

Thank you to everyone helping bring this dream to life, from our foundation and the Community Foundation Ocala Marion County to our state legislators, donors, and local partners. Together, we’re creating a place where families living with dementia will never have to walk alone.

And yes! Everyone on the tour got to keep their hard hats! Safety first!

The holidays can be a sensitive time, especially when they bring memories of those we miss. Join us for Keeping the Holidays Light, an interactive workshop designed to help you navigate grief during the holiday season.

Participants will learn about the grieving process, discover helpful resources, and take part in creative arts and crafts to honor loved ones in a meaningful way.

Last month, Empath Hospice of Marion County team members, families, and friends showed up with full hearts to honor loved ones and support those affected by Alzheimer's at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Ocala!

We're so proud to have been the LARGEST team at the walk and to represent Hospice of Marion County and the Nancy Reynhart Dementia Education Program!

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are celebrating Kim’s courage.

Kim is a social worker who continued working during her first round of breast cancer treatment, while still providing her patients incredible care and compassion.

Her team members organized a surprise “Pink Day,” to show their love and support.

If you love someone with Alzheimer's or dementia, do you ever wonder how you can bring them more joy? It’s World Alzheimer’s Day, and we asked Elizabeth, Shannon and Martha from our dementia care team that question.

Their answers reflect what our Nancy Renyhart Dementia Education Program is all about: helping families understand dementia and discover those simple ways to connect. And through our GUIDE program, we walk alongside caregivers with the support and resources they need. We're proud of the way these programs represent Full Life Care for all.

The Charlie Horse Golf Tournament was a record-breaking success! With 112 golfers, we raised over $21,600, the largest total in the tournament’s history.

A heartfelt thank you to our generous 50/50 raffle winner who donated back his share of $865 to support compassionate Full Life Care.
