HOT POWER EXPRESS:
Get in. Get Sweaty. Get on with your life. Vinyasa flow to stretch & strengthen your body and mind. Get your heart pumping and your b***y bumping. Room heated 82-86 degrees to create a sweaty detox while you restore yourself from the inside out.

Bring a towel and water. 50 minutes

Beginners welcome; do what you can.

EVERYDAY YOGA:
Move and stretch so you can stay active in your everyday life. All levels; beginner friendly.

You’ll learn the foundational yoga poses and how to modify them as needed for your body. This is a great place to start your yoga journey or fine tune your practice. *not heated

This was the sweetest group! These gals (plus 4 of their pals that couldn’t make it) all met in prenatal yoga class TEN YEARS AGO!! They all had babies within a month of one another and have stayed friends for the past ten years!

Part of their get together time includes a moms only weekend in Ocean City and this year they decided to include a private beach yoga class 🩵

It was such a delight to share a class and a sweet sharing circle with them as they expressed their gratitude for be another and reminisced on the first time they met & some of the favorite memories over the years. I’m so grateful to have gotten to be a part of their weekend together!

I’m also now inspired to take a pre natal yoga teacher training so I can hopefully create the space for more opportunities for life long friendships to form in this way!

Ocean City wants to turn 801 Asbury - home to small businesses and my yoga studio - into a police station.

If you can, please send a quick email or make a quick phone call to city council and ask them not to turn our yoga studio and other small businesses into a police station. Council votes Thursday, 10/9. Thank you.

Back story -
My yoga studio is in a 6 story, 100 year old building that houses many small businesses and 2 floors recently became occupied by the police department.

Now they want to abaondon the building they were going to renovate, tear it down to make a parking lot, and take over our building. Every business will lose their home, and with the cost of rent or purchasing, I’m not sure how many will find a new home. There’s plenty of other areas the police could take over instead of this one.

These gals got the best September day on the bay for a private Bachlorette yoga to celebrate Desiree’s upcoming wedding to Justin 👰🏼‍♀️❤️🎃 (on Halloween!!)

All of these ladies (minus the bride’s sister) met at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA - which I happened to go to (um, maybe before they were born 😂😅) for my first 3 years of college! What a neat coincidence! We took a photo together at the end with all the King’s gals 👯‍♀️

Hot yoga found me, not the other way around. I was having a lot of hip pain and it was recommended I do hot yoga.

I was terrified to walk into a studio and try a class. What if I passed out from the heat? What if I couldn’t do any of the poses? What if I made a fool of myself?

So I started by taking private hot yoga sessions - just me and the teacher - in this cute little yoga room with a fireplace. And then I started telling my friends, and they started going too, and then one morning, I really was in a lot of pain and knew hot yoga would help, but she was already booked. So I mustered up the courage to walk into a hot yoga studio and take a class with other people. And I didn’t die! And, I loved it! And the energy was even more powerful with a room full of people moving in the heat.

And from that day forward, I was hooked.

Yoga (especially hot yoga) has helped keep my pain at bay for over ten years. While yes, I love all styles, and all styles have their time and purpose, hot yoga just does something different.

If it seems too intimidating to walk into a studio and take a group class (and I get it - I’ve been there!) book a private hot yoga session. We will cover all the basics you need to know to successfully join in group classes and help you learn to work with the heat.

Private sessions available year round. Sadly, no fireplace, but the studio is super cute 😍

I get it. New things can feel intimidating, especially hot yoga classes.

82-86 isn’t actually too hot (I often practice in 105°) but it’s enough to get the body warmed up nicely, to start to get beads of sweat rolling down your body, and to begin to learn to tune out the world and tune more deeply into you.
