October is physical therapy month which is the perfect time to acknowledge our great team of physical therapists and PTA! We think they’re all wonderful and are thankful to have them on the team!

We’re thrilled to invite differently-abled kids and young adults (ages 3–21) and their families to Pawsitive Connections—a joyful, inclusive, come-and-go event celebrating friendship, pets, and creativity!

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭:
Doors open at 10:00 AM. Therapy dog teams from Visiting Pet Teams of South Mississippi will be set up for relaxed, drop-in meet-and-greets—enjoy visiting with our furry friends at your own pace!

Throughout the event, participants can visit a variety of fun activity stations:
• Select a stuffed cat or dog to “adopt” (one per registered child or young adult ages 3–21)
• Give your new friend a checkup
• Create a custom collar
• Decorate a take-home “pet house” box
• Receive an official adoption certificate

When you register, you’ll be able to select your child’s stuffed animal to adopt. To make sure every participant gets their special friend, we’re only able to guarantee stuffed animals for families who pre-register. 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐲 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐭 𝟔 𝐏𝐌 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝’𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥.
