Most people think we’re just watching the movement.
We’re actually watching everything else.
We notice when your breath is shallow or not flowing rhymically,
When your shoulders creep up, or the ribs begin to flare,
Or when your jaw tightens and your neck tenses,
Or how your weight shifts without you realising it.
Or even when your posture is slightly rotated or shifted...
When we see those things, we don’t just let the class carry on.
We’ll make small adjustments — sometimes as simple as changing where you place your feet, how you’re organising your ribs, or reminding you to breathe at a certain point in the movement. Or a light hands-on cue helps your body understand.
These subtle changes can take strain out of the movement, help you feel more supported, and allow the right muscles to do the work — instead of dominant muscles taking over.
That’s why our classes are kept small.
It allows us to watch everyone, make real-time corrections, and give hands-on support where it’s useful.
