We’re thrilled to partner with Embrace Abilities to bring PCM Basic Practitioner Training to caregivers across the Mississippi Gulf Coast at NO COST to the caregivers!

This training focuses on hands-off, practical, preventative, and de-escalation strategies to help caregivers support individuals through everyday challenges with confidence and compassion. We can’t wait to see you all next month!

We’re excited to announce an upcoming Professional Crisis Management (PCM) training for our community, and it’s happening thanks to the generosity of Empowered Pathways, LLC, who has donated the training.

PCM is a 6-hour course that equips caregivers and professionals with practical tools to help prevent crisis situations and respond safely when behaviors escalate, while keeping dignity, support, and inclusion at the center.

We’re also proud to share that our very own Nicki Kopp will be leading the course. Nicki brings a steady, compassionate approach and the kind of real-world experience that makes this training meaningful and approachable.

Official registration will go out this week to everyone who signed up on our course interest list. If you’re on the list and can’t commit, please let us know so we can offer your spot to someone on our waitlist.

We’re thrilled to announce an exclusive training opportunity coming in early 2026!

Embrace Abilities will be hosting a Professional Crisis Management (PCM) Basic Practitioner Certification Training designed especially for parents and caregivers.

PCM is a nationally recognized crisis intervention program that teaches positive, practical strategies, backed by behavioral science, to help you support children and young adults with different abilities to stay safe and successful across a variety of environments and situations.

This interactive and engaging 6-hour training (lunch included!) will be led by Nicki Kopp, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Certified Crisis Intervention Trainer, Clinical Director, and proud Embrace Abilities Board Member.

💙 Thanks to Empowered Pathways, LLC’s generous donation of the training, up to 30 families can participate at no cost. All training materials and certification fees will be fully covered by Embrace Abilities.

The total value of this training, materials, and certification is approximately $180 per participant, provided to families completely free.

Our Clinical Director, Nicki, and Behavior Analyst in Training supervisee, Ana, truly enjoyed supporting Embrace Abilities and training Bad Moms That Dance yesterday evening for the upcoming Pawsitive Connections event.

🎉 We’re so grateful to Bad Moms That Dance for stepping up to volunteer at our event this Saturday. Thanks to their support, the parents on our team who usually work behind the scenes will actually get the chance to enjoy the event with their own families.

Their crew took time to join Empowered Pathways’ virtual training yesterday evening, covering safety, accessibility, and how to support families. Thank you, Empowered Pathways, LLC, for hosting a training that made everyone feel prepared.
