Below is a great visual that helps break down, emotionally, where we tend to turn when we feel a certain way and what the connected emotion may look and feel like. The color coding as well lends some visual reminder (example: green can be considered positive, red can be considered negative, beige or grey can be considered neutral, etc.)

Looking at this wheel, which is very similar to the emotions wheel I had shared here a while back, how do you feel about these ‘categories’? Do you think they make sense or do you feel like you experience feelings differently from the situations covered with this visual?

It's the start of a new week and we are just beginning a new month! Let's set our intentions for the week AND new month ahead of us!

Today's post is just a gentle reminder to engage in mindfulness today whenever you see it's attainable - this practice will help keep us grounded and centered throughout the day when we find stress levels rising ~ this practice can be done out loud, in our heads, with our eyes open or closed, and where ever we feel safe and called to try it out!
