To all of my fabulous patients and friends,
I have come to a very difficult decision to step away from the ownership of Beachside Pediatric Dentistry. The practice was established in 1990, soon after my son was born. I truly have enjoyed my relationship with my patients and staff and have gotten endless satisfaction and joy from caring for these wonderful children (each one a special gift). It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing the sale of my practice. It has been an honor to have served you for the past 30 years.
To maintain the continuing care of my patients, I am pleased to announce that Dr. Maxim Sulla and Dr. Lila Ostrow of Tender Smiles 4 Kids have purchased my practice. They have chosen Dr. Daniel Weidberg to work in this office. Dr. Dan grew up in Toronto, Canada. He received his Bachelors of Science from Touro College, where he graduated Suma Cum Laude. Dr. Dan graduated Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, NJ with distinction in special care, after participating in the special needs honors program. He also received the NJAPD award for his outstanding commitment in treating children. Like me, he completed his training in pediatric dentistry at Rutgers where he served as chief resident.
I am also very pleased to tell you that Diane, Tammy, and Diana will continue to provide their talented skills to the practice. And I am not retiring! I will continue to work an abbreviated schedule at the office while continuing my Department Chair responsibilities at Monmouth Medical Center, teaching the residents, continuing my operating room schedule and Cleft Palate Team responsibilities. I will also continue dental mission work. The next misson is in Morocco at the end of October. So, I’m not saying goodbye, as I expect to see you again. On October 3, I am hosting an Old Fashion Sunday Ice Cream Social at Precious Blood Church in Monmouth Beach from 2PM to 5PM. The hall is behind the church where there will be ice cream and prizes. If you can make it, and I hope you can, please RSVP to mbadalaty@gmail.com. You can also use this email to reach out to me whenever.

S’mores are the one of the most popular North American desserts and they are practically the quintessential campfire treat. In fact it is estimated that over 50 million pounds of marshmallows are toasted over a fire in North America each year!

From the scent of a rare first edition book found in an old time book collection, to a crisp, fresh book at the local supermarket, the very sight of a book can bring back memories. Reading as a child, enjoying the short stories, the long books and the ability to lose yourself in a story so powerful that at the end your asking yourself where to get the next book in the series. This is for the reader in all of us, the celebration of Book Lovers Day!

Today is Fri Aug 6th, International Sailor Moon Day!!!

It all started with a small black cat with a lot to say, and a young girl named Usagi Tsukino who received a brooch that transforms her into the titular Sailor Moon. From that point forward a team of Sailor Guardians becomes assembled, and they’re out to save the world from all the enemies that come their way. International Sailor Moon Day celebrates this incredibly popular manga and the anime series that was birthed from it, so get out there and get your Guardian on!
