Mount Sinai South Nassau proudly hosted its 8th Annual Toys for Tots Drive, donating 900 new, unwrapped toys and over $1,000 to children in need.
A heartfelt thank you to Christine Doud, fifth from right, Assistant to the Directors of Nursing Education, and Keith Doud, sixth from right, Mechanic A, Engineering, for coordinating this effort, the Sunrise Detachment Marine Corps League for their partnership, and all our employees whose generosity made this possible. With support from Stephen Biscotti, Director of Safety and Security and dedicated staff, this tradition has been spreading holiday joy since 2018.
Together, we are making the season a little brighter.

Honoring Kiki’s memory with comfort and love

In memory of their daughter Kiki, the Palapoli family has lovingly collected and purchased over 600 pairs of pajamas, now being distributed to four different organizations. Kiki loved her PJ’s, and during her illness, they brought her comfort and dignity when she didn’t want to wear a hospital gown.

This beautiful act of generosity ensures that other patients can feel cozy, cared for, and seen—just as Kiki was.

A joyful day at The Barn in Old Westbury celebrating the Seniors’ Birthdays! The Mount Sinai South Nassau Vaxmobile team was onsite providing care, along with our amazing physical therapist Fran Stauber, PT, DPT, Injury Prevention Outreach Coordinator offering balance testing. The team provided 31 health screenings and 18 attendees participated in balance testing, not to mention one very special blood pressure check with Santa himself!
