Tranquil Trims is dedicated to providing your best friend with a pawsitive, gentle, one-on-one grooming experience. We understand that each pet reacts differently to being groomed, therefore we pay close attention to what makes your pet most comfortable while in our care. Years of experience with animals and their different personalities have taught us the importance of building a trusting and loving rapport with each and every dog we groom. What Is Grooming Rehab? We know that visits to a grooming salon where your pets are kept in cages until it is their turn is an extremely stressful situation. Your pet may be handled by a different groomer each time they visit. As with everything in life, there are good groomers and not-so-good groomers. Your pet may have experienced nicks, cuts, careless and/or rough handling etc., which is extremely traumatic, resulting in negative and fearful memories of the grooming experience. Tranquil Trims is the first mobile grooming salon of its kind to coin the term "Grooming Rehabilitation". It is exactly as it sounds. Through gradual and gentle actions performed by the same caring person on a repeated basis, we slowly restore your pet's trust in the procedure all-together. We are never in a hurry, nor do we need to rush to our next client. One-on-one with your pet is our only concern. We take the time to notice what your pet fears, when he displays anxiety and what parts of the procedure he seems sensitive to. We never "force" an animal but gently ease him into the necessary bath, clip etc. through a reassuring atmosphere and a positive environment. In time, your pet will come to understand that we are there to help them feel better, never to hurt them.. They will regain trust in their handler and maybe even look forward to the gentle touch, relaxing massage and positive energy that we share when together.

This past week we said goodbye to another sweet TT baby- miss Kaina. We were blessed to have groomed her for an entire year before she crossed Rainbow Bridge. This was her first bath picture with us, and she loved them all. We will miss your sweet kisses Kaina 🐾❤ Our hearts go out to her mom at this difficult time.

Nov Success Story- sweet Tazz and Roxy. Tazz was hit by a car last year, giving him nerve damage and use of only 3 of his legs. Both were labeled "impossible grooms" by others as they claimed too difficult and too nervous. Theres not an "impossible" or "overly nervous" hair on these 2 as with a little love and patience they were the most marshmallowy, sweet kids! Thank you for allowing us to groom your sweetie pies!

Late post! A week ago we had the pleasure of grooming miss Potato for the final time before she went on to her forever home! If you dont know potato's story- about a year ago we were called to groom this poor baby before she was taken in to have bladder surgery for a stone the size of her bladder. Between that and her eye, no one was sure how she was going to fair. But she bounced back strong! 4 months later we groomed her for her adoption photo shoot and now she officially has a new loving home! Wagging Dog did such an amazing job with this little one and we are happy to have been a part of her story. We love you little sweet Potato! Wishing you a new wonderful life with your new momma! 😊😊😍

September Success Story- Meet Maddy: Maddy is a little rescue baby whose past is unknown- what we do know is grooming had become a very scary experience for her. Her previous experience involved 3 groomers trying to hold her down that later told her parents she was "impossible". Enter Tranquil Trims with our Dog Grooming Rehab. With our first visit we were only able to complete half the groom- but today, upon our second groom, Maddy made huge strides! We were able to finish the entire groom including her nails and neck area where she was most afraid. Good girl Maddy!
