Obviously, regulatory agencies are useful when (or if) they do properly what they have been mandated to do. Business people will see this story as being about investment opportunities, and it surely is, while medical scientists (like me) see it as a warning signal that when a good pharmaceutical is mishandled by middlemen bad things can happen.
