As the sun sets, we gather at Surf Salutations for a slower, more intentional practice.

This 60-minute warm, candlelit silent disco headset experience blends 45 minutes of mindful slow flow vinyasa with 15 minutes of guided meditation. Through wireless headphones, curated music and Megan’s voice stream directly into your ears — distractions soften and your internal focus will deepen.

Expect spacious transitions, and breath-led movement designed to build gentle heat without rush. The candlelight sets the tone. The sound becomes your anchor. The warmth allows the body to open gradually and safely.

We close with guided meditation as day turns to night — grounding your nervous system and leaving you steady, clear, and restored.

Let your little ones move, breathe, and create—while you check off a to-do (or enjoy a little me-time during spring break)! šŸŒž

This drop-off friendly, screen-free experience for kids ages 4–8 takes place Wednesday, April 8 from 1:30–4:00pm. Registration includes a t-shirt for your child.

The afternoon begins with calming mindful activities and a craft, followed by playful Yoga-HIIT inspired movement. Kids will build strength, balance, focus, and coordination through music, stories, and games, while learning tools for stress, self-confidence, kindness, and connection in a non-competitive environment.

Led by Specialized Kids Yoga Teacher Michele Mash and studio owner Megan Peters, these local mamas bring warmth, playfulness, and a love for working with children.

Parents may stay or drop off. Limited space! 🌈

This morning was a VIBE. 🪩

Our 2nd birthday at Surf Salutations brought the energy—movement, music, wellness moments, and a room full of people who make this place what it is.

Big shoutout to .shop, .amanda, and .cryar for showing up and helping everyone feel amazing with all the wellness experiences!

At Surf Salutations, our why has always been simple and steady: to create a space that feels welcoming, inclusive, and deeply human. A place where everyone is embraced, emotions are allowed, and your nervous system can finally exhale.

Yoga isn’t about pretending everything is positive vibes only. It’s about awareness. It’s about learning how to meet ourselves with honesty, discipline, and compassion.

Yoga asks us to notice what’s happening—inside and in the world around us—and stay present rather than numb or reactive.

Through practice, we continue to learn how to more easily ground, regulate, and respond with clarity.

Over time, yoga becomes the bridge between inner awareness and how we show up in the world, on and off the mat.

At the heart of it all is Ahimsa, non-harm—toward ourselves and toward others. We believe in dignity, safety, and humanity for all.

Today, we’re keeping our doors open to offer a place to retreat. To breathe. To move. To feel. To reset.

Whether you need quiet, connection, something fun and lighthearted, or simply somewhere to land, this space is here for you.

The world and news cycle is feeling heavy — if you’re feeling called to take action in ways that align with the teachings of yoga, here are a few gentle places to start:
