We had an extraordinary light filled night at our debut Inner Light Service: Meditation, Music & Message at Seaside Center for Spiritual Living in Encinitas tonight. These spiritual services will be held every week indefinitely!! I am so honored to have been asked to fill this role as the Director of Meditation & Music alongside these 4 powerful & dynamic women ministers & ministerial interns, Rev Deb, Rev Lori, Terah & Maggie. If you are seeking spiritual community, connection & inspiration without judgment & religious dogma we would love for you to join us. ALL ARE WELCOME HERE!!!

Am I working hard or hardly working? I hardly know… but I do know I finally did something I’ve been meaning to do for a very long time. 🤍

I just launched a new page on my website very specific to:
End-of-Life Services — created for my human family walking through one of life’s most tender & often, most emotionally challenging thresholds.

I’ve been an ordained minister since 2013 mostly for weddings, but I have always also offered funeral services and I support people through:
🌈Funerals, memorials & celebrations of life (officiant + customized ceremony)
​🎤Professional funeral/memorial soloist services (live music woven into the ceremony)
📿Pre-transition support (sound healing + song + gentle ceremony for those nearing transition)
🕊️Grief support (private sound healing to support the loved ones left behind)

New Year News for Celeste Barbier Events !!

Starting Wednesdays in Encinitas on Jan 14th I will be the new Director of Meditation & Music at Seaside Center for Spiritual Living Center for Spiritual Living for INNER LIGHT SERVICES every Wednesday from 6:30-7:30pm with fellowship to follow. This service is open to all faiths & spiritual paths rooted in love, compassion, inclusion, divine service & self-awareness.

Thursdays will continue a residency in Escondido at Bellamy's Restaurant Restaurant from 6-9pm in the lounge by the bar.

Fridays will be my new residency day at Nick & G's in Rancho Santa Fe from 6-9pm on the patio or by the bar if weather is too cold, windy or raining.

I will still have occasional gigs at Coomber Craft Wines Oceanside-Winery and Tasting Room in both Oceanside & Vista on 2nd Tuesdays & occasional Sundays.

January 24th will be my last Mr. Peabody's Encinitas matinee indefinitely. I will resume my first Saturday gay matinee at #1 Fifth Avenue in February.

All shows at New York West are canceled indefinitely.

I am seeking a San Diego matinee show opportunity at a public restaurant, resort or winery with food on one Sunday per month due to fan demand.

I am open to booking private events on Saturdays & Sundays for:

Private Group & Corporate Sound Bath Sessions
Celebrations of Life/Memorials (minister/soloist)
Weddings/Vow Renewals (minister/soloist)

I have a Huge Announcement I have been keeping to myself these past few months...

I was honored to be invited to take on a new permanent role for the new Wednesday Night Weekly Service starting in January 2026 as the:

🎶Music & Sound Meditation Director🎶
at Seaside Center for Spiritual Living

We named it
🪷INNER LIGHT: Meditation, Music & Message🪷.

I will be working alongside 4 wonderful rotating women ministers from Seaside....
Terah Short Maggie Rintala, Lori McMackin & Debbie McDonnell with some guest ministers.

Our first service will be held on January 14th, 2026

This is my first time as an adult taking on a role or position within a spiritual community, but one I feel is important at this juncture in my life.

As someone who does not adhere to any specific dogma or religious practice it is of the utmost importance to me to help foster & create a space where everyone feels welcome & seen regardless of your spiritual beliefs, sexual preferences, gender presentation, past experiences, mental health, race, economic or social status.

This world can feel very dark at times and we want to create a space where you can reconnect with both your own 🕯 INNER LIGHT & the light of fellowship & community through the power of love and acceptance right where you are. We want to help you connect to divinity both within and the one that can guide you through darkness back to a place of love & serenity. We want to create a safe space where you are seen and can breathe deeply.

I believe each of the women I am working with weekly will find dynamic and poignant ways to deliver inspirational messages to your soul while I support with song and sound.

I hope you will join us and help us grow our Wednesday Night services in 2026. We are planting a garden and can't wait to watch it bloom!! 🪷📿🙏🏼

Turns out, I’m not JUST a singer as I had previously identified 🎤

Somewhere between singing, toning, leading sound journeys, and weaving together a dozen different instruments—all while channeling the energy of a room—I woke up to a truth I hadn’t claimed before:

🎶 I AM a multi-instrumentalist.
🐙 I AM a multi-tasker (but in my own quirky, magical way).
🌟 And I AM so much more than I ever gave myself credit for.

This blog is part confession, part realization, and part celebration of the expanded version of myself I’m in the process of becoming.

If you've ever felt like you're not doing it right because your path didn’t look like someone else's, this blog might speak to you.

Is there a part of your journey that altered your trajectory and abilities in a way that made you see yourself differently than you had before?

👩🏽‍🎓Maybe you thought you were always a "bad student" but went back and studied something you were passionate about and easily earned A's for the first time in your life!

🪴Maybe you thought you didn't have a green thumb because all your house plants died, but then you started growing succulents and now everyone is asking YOU for advice!

🍰Maybe you thought you couldn't cook, but you found a passion for baking and now everyone is begging you to bring your baked goods to the next holiday gathering!

🏓Maybe you never thought you were good at sports, but now you're regarded as a master of those local pickleball courts!

We evolve, we learn, we grow and we do change and sometimes we don't even notice why, when or how that all shifted.

I used to think I wasn't an instrumentalist, but recently I realized that is no longer true. I just don't play traditional instruments. It's time to shift my perspective to step into my new reality with confidence.
