This is 43.
42 was hard.
42 felt impossible for a moment.
But 42 taught me things I hope you don’t have to learn the same way.
What 42 Taught Me:
• If telling the truth makes people uncomfortable, tell it anyway. Humanity perpetuates its darkest problems by avoiding the discomfort of them.
• You can learn to recognize illusion blindfolded, in the dark, against all odds.
• Tolerating the intolerable is not strength… it is self-betrayal.
• Loving yourself “in theory” is not the same as respecting yourself in practice.
• Negotiating your boundaries rarely helps the violator, it hurts you.
• Ignoring your intuition does not protect you. It only ensures you’ll be proven right in more painful ways.
• The people you bend over backwards for will not bend for you. The people worthy of your presence would never watch you distort your dignity for them.
• You are not required to protect the peace of those who exploit, deceive, or harm you.
• You are not obligated to absorb the consequences of someone else’s wrongdoing.
• Softening the truth of abuse to protect fragile egos only perpetuates the problem.
I am no longer available:
• To tolerate the intolerable.
• To play scapegoat. (I didn’t hang up the sash — I set it on fire.)
• To protect the image of those who harm.
• To shrink truth to make others comfortable.
✨ May you become unavailable to what dishonors you.
✨ May you trust your intuition the first time.
✨ May you stop translating endurance into love.
Onward and upward.
Much love, light — and boundaries like a mo********er. ✌🏻
