Have you tried coconut oil on your skin? I highly recommend Organic Fiji. I have been using it in my massage therapy practice for over 20 years! It is the right grade of oil for use on the skin, but as pure and wholesome as the grade produced for cooking! I use it every day and try to practice the rule to not put anything on my skin that I wouldn't eat! It is high quality and is very consistent as a stable product. I hope that you will come and experience this in a massage session or buy the lotion to use in your daily hydration routine!

Do I do face and neck massage? Of course I do! 😊 Do I do face massage during every massage? It depends! It usually comes down to priority and time factors. ⏳ Also, for some clients, they may be wearing makeup or sunscreen products that they choose to not have disrupted during therapy, which I always like to be aware of. 💄💆‍♀️ Hair and makeup post-massage is important if requested to keep its integrity.

Knowing anatomy becomes more important as you get older and you try to identify what may be causing your aches and pains. 🩺 The spleen is a quiet organ. It may get enlarged or feel swollen, but normally, it goes unnoticed and goes along each day working hard for you and powering and controlling your immune system. At least that is what I was taught in massage school when I studied lymphatic drainage massage circa 2010. 💪 It is located just under your ribcage on the left side of your abdominal area. It can be removed without much consequence; liver and bone marrow can assume function and facilitate duties of the missing spleen. Energetically, you will always have a spleen and you can nourish it with yummy yellow vegetables like squashes and potatoes. 🌻 Imagine bright sunshine energy filling your spleen in the morning. The spleen loves being nourished and supported. Our immune system is always working for us and so is our lymphatic system! 🌿✨

Flashback Thursday! We used to be famous in the cycling world! North Coast Velo is the cycling club that I have been riding with for over 10 years! We used to challenge ourselves and do crazy things like do 100 and 200 mile rides! Some guys would even claim 400 in two days! I know! Crazy! But I have to say I still know all but 1 person in the photo! They used our photo for the 2016 season even though we earned our medals in 2015! So fun riding with this crew! We used to say that we were "Beer drinkers with a cycling problem!"
I still love to get on my bike and ride the rail trail path to Escondido! If you are a cyclist too, you should come and see me and I will help you be better for your next ride! Massage therapy should be part of every healthy riders program!
